Here it comes again, approaching from the west, bringing with it hints of the snow that will soon follow. Another blistery cold night in Tennessee and the promise of snowy weather this evening will keep us indoors, tucked in tightly beneath our quilts and dreaming of spring.
The weather this year all around the country seems very weird, but then I am in Florida. What do I know? This is a lovely picture. I just gave you a Versatile Blogger Award. Please see my blog wildflowersandcountryroads.com for further information. Congratulations
I am fortunate to live in a piece of history: a circa 1869 house that my husband and I ran as a bed and breakfast for several years until the birth of our son in 2010. While we miss sharing our house with the many guests who frequented our B&B, we are thankful to have the extra space for our growing family. We continue to restore the house in between our family time and our full time jobs (me in higher education and he in aerial mapping). We share the house with our sweet critters: two dogs and two cats, who seem to enjoy it as much as we do. This blog chronicles our lives, our love, our laughter, and the ongoing attempt at restoring a home in the midst of living our busy lives.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6, NIV

Hey Paula! 5 bathrooms!! WOW sounds amazing! I wished we was going to get some snow tonight. They said we might get 1/2 inch. Stay safe!

Warmer weather is on the way, the biting cold just left, headed east! Stay toasty!
