The Rose Room

This is a special post at the request of my mother. A few months ago, my husband and I had the bead board ceilings in our second floor rooms redone. They had original ceilings from 1869, and they needed attention desperately. Mom, here are the pictures of the ceilings in our "Rose Room" (other rooms to be posted later). I will admit that I've not had time to pay attention to much of the decor, and I can't do the curtains just right without you! In fact, I'm so bad with curtains that when the contractors finished, I confess that I just "slung" the fabric up over the curtain rod, and that's the way they still hang. Mom, I need you! Or a course on window treatments. Since this is the room that will soon become our nursery, though, we will be moving all this furniture and girly decor to other room(s) of the house. I suppose it will stay as it is, albeit unfinished, until that time.
