We have about 20 chickadees and 40 or so goldfinches, a couple of pairs of cardinals, and the occasional red belly woodpecker who feast on the sunflower seeds I put in the feeders on the deck. We all love watching them.Janethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02190489990653412687noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2141921370714632366.post-49581287380339271352009-02-16T11:26:00.000-06:002009-02-16T11:26:00.000-06:00Hi Paula,What a wonderful shot of the woodpecker l...Hi Paula,
What a wonderful shot of the woodpecker looking right at you. Spectacular pictures!Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09147413132595250490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2141921370714632366.post-73007922873364117572009-02-13T22:55:00.000-06:002009-02-13T22:55:00.000-06:00Thanks, everyone, for your kind words about the po...Thanks, everyone, for your kind words about the post and the photos! I feel as though I've mislead you, though! I didn't take the pictures! Nope, I nabbed them from the internet because I couldn't get a decent picture of my woodpecker through the window...the glare would show up in each of them! While I did give credit to the sites from which I "borrowed" the pictures, I made the type smaller, so it probably wasn't very noticeable. I'd love to take credit for them, though! Aren't they wonderful photos?!?! Alas, they are not mine.

I ADORE birds. I have this "thing" for antique bird prints and illustrations! *sigh*Paulahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04355354417513710832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2141921370714632366.post-2504914159049899572009-02-13T21:46:00.000-06:002009-02-13T21:46:00.000-06:00How exciting....Birds are indeed so special! ;)How exciting....Birds are indeed so special! ;)Mrs. Ehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07167732479027498107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2141921370714632366.post-58803266474468051402009-02-13T17:10:00.000-06:002009-02-13T17:10:00.000-06:00I love birds!
