I love the painting that you and your husband did too.
I am sorry to be slow answering your question about peonies a few days ago. The latest blooming peony in my gardenis Sarah Bernhart and Gardenia but they will be blooming shortly.By planting the early ones like tree peonies and some early herbaceous like Red Charm, mid season like Festiva Maxima and ending with the late varieties you can extend the season for aprox six weeks of peonies but there are no late summer bloomers.
I hope this helps-I am not sure what varieties are available in your area or how well they grow as peonies like some cold in winter-making our climate ideal!
Enjoy spending time in your new nursery with your beautiful baby!
Take care,
P.s. I mislabeled the white peony my Dad gave me it is Festiva Maxima-the mon Jules Elle is the dark pink one Dad gave me. Sorry for the confusion-I must be getting old!Carolynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06365004847174534068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2141921370714632366.post-35866472224010212352010-06-30T00:06:39.868-05:002010-06-30T00:06:39.868-05:00Oooh, I think it is absolutely perfect! I love all...Oooh, I think it is absolutely perfect! I love all of the vintage items and the personal items from you and your husband. It looks very 'boy' -- I don't mind the flowers a bit. There are teddy bears and Pooh bears and rocking horse and a cow jumping over the moon! Love the cross-stitch pictures. Yes, I do think it's perfect for him! And the fireplace -- as Kim said, he can have his animal crackers and cocoa!Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09147413132595250490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2141921370714632366.post-63574423379675475122010-06-29T22:02:53.578-05:002010-06-29T22:02:53.578-05:00so cute, you must be over the moon happy! and of c...so cute, you must be over the moon happy! and of course the cow pic in the cherry on top!a quiet lifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15764214603632867021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2141921370714632366.post-61197624756895195412010-06-29T18:05:09.577-05:002010-06-29T18:05:09.577-05:00oh yeah, I love the chandelier and the fireplace ...oh yeah, I love the chandelier and the fireplace too. It is perfect right down to the vacuum sweeper marks on the carpet...you could probably eat off that carpet right, Paula? Everything is just right and the touches of things that you and Michael have had finishes it off well. More pictures of other rooms, please. You know I love pictures. I trust you are feeling better! and I hope the little one is too!Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10252493103687252549noreply@blogger.com
